Sid`s Restaurant in Winnemucca

This is the best restaurant in Winnemucca by far... Service was friendly and fast... I had the pork chop n eggs breakfast for about $12. Super delicious!! I'm stopping every time I pass through!!!

Great food and good people .loved it

The picture looks good but, my meal wasn't really that great. I ordered the shrimp and rib eye. The shrimp were good, but the steak was not. The color was a little off and it didn't seem to be cooked very nicely. I ordered medium rare and could barely tell what it was because the color was so washed out. The mashed potatoes were good but the gravy was not. The best part of the meal was the dinner Salad and the garlic bread.

Normally the food is good! We go there often for lunch. Great service, and friendly staff. Last night however, the food was awful! I ordered a hot Turkey sandwich. The gravy was green! Tasted horrible! I sent it back and ordered a patty melt, it came dripping in grease. Maybe just an off night. As always the wait staff were wonderful!

The food is delicious. We shared an ordered Country Skillet with the gravy on the side , extra 2 pouched eggs, Poppy seeds muffin, and cranberry juice.Monica was our server and she is happy, polite, and friendly. Thanks Monica, you're a sweetheart.

French Dip for dinner......nothing special. All standard, off the grocery store shelf ingredients. Rather small portion. Fries were so-so at best. Yes it was fast and service was good but 2 stars is all it deserves.

Good, hot comfort food served quickly at a decent price. Fried chicken special was delicious! Really liked the cornbread too. Only thing I would change is serve fresh steamed veggies on the side instead of canned. Service was excellent as well. My partner had the half sandwich (BLT) and soup (chicken noodle). Said they were both good but not outstanding. We will eat there again next time we come through, we liked the quiet atmosphere unlike all the noisy casino restaurants.

Came for breakfast and was not disappointed in the food we ordered. It was amazingly good. Would definitely come back if we're ever back in the area.

Great food, great prices and great service. You can't really ask for anything else. We have a camping property in Winnemucca and live in Reno so we didn't really know any places to eat but passed by Sid's and I just love little local diner's so we stopped in and I'm glad we did. Phenomenal service, our waitress was kind and efficent, the food came out fast, hot and delicious and the place was clean. No sticky tables, the silverware and glasses were clean and the prices were great. A lot of locals were there so that always makes me feel comfortable in eating at a place. Just a great experience at Sid's!

Every food item was horrible. The only reason I cannot justify one star is because the service was top notch. Super friendly and prompt.

Great food, fabulous service and reasonable prices. My husband had the patty melt, said it was one of the best he'd had. My chicken noodle soup was very good with lots of noodles. They have real butter here too.

Amazing place. Stopped for dinner while passing through and got amazing service. Food was absolutely delicious and the fries were to die for.

Service was fantastic. Everyone seemed like they were upbeat and happy to be working. I like the overall layout of the restaurant. Open kitchen, and food was good. Only thing I'd recommend is grilling the veggies!

I stopped in today for lunch at around noon. I was immediately impressed by the cleanliness of the restaurant and I was even more impressed by the cleanliness of the bathroom. They run a tight ship there! I was seated quickly and the wait staff were on top of things. I ordered a lunch special the buffalo burger and it came with french fries. As Jules would say "what a tasty burger!" Lol. The burger was 8 99. Not too bad considering a Big Mac at Burger King is over $4. Wasn't impressed that they charged over $2 for a fountain drink though! Other than that , no complaints. I would stop there again.

Pleasantly surprised with my food. Very nice staff. It was a cozy place to step back in time and enjoy a good American meal.

They hardly had anything on the menu. But the survice was nice. Can't get full on that. All dishes were pretty clean going back to the kitchen. We were still hungry. For the price we payed we should have got groceries and made something more filling at home. They need more veggie options.

Everything was delicious. Crispy hashbrowns and bacon, good eggs and pancake, grilled English muffin. Coffee and iced tea fresh and tasty.

Great place for breakfast. They do serve lunch and dinner but I haven't ordered from that menu yet. Food was served in a timely manner. Staff was friendly and the food tasted great.

Tastiest ol' fashioned diner around town. Serves the greatest breakfast alongside with lunch. Especially my favorite which I would highly recommend, that is 'The Hamburger Club' as I like to say I am a member of.

When passing through Winnemucca, you've got to get off of the main drag for something worth eating. Check out the Martin if you have time for dinner. But, if you want to sit down and have a quick mwal, this place fits the order.I ordered the Chicken Asparagas and a side salad. The salad was crisp, and the toppings were plentiful. The pasta dish came before I finished my salad, which was ok. The sauce was tasty, almost rated made to order. The chicken wasn't dry, a good sign. But, the Asparagas was still stiff, almost like eating twigs. It was a bit distracting from the rest of the goodness, but overall, it was good.I've been to Sid's twice now, I will continue to stop here during the dinner hours, if I am continuing on.

Great food and excellent service. We had the Hawaiian Grilled Chicken Sandwich and milk shakes. Fantastic! Our waitress, Victoria, was efficient, polite, and quick.

One of the Best Breakfast locations I've been to in years!!! Great staff, had a great conversation with the owner that made us fell very comfortable on a busy Father's Day. He was willing to do whatever is necessary to make you comfortable. I had a fantastic steak breakfast that was prepared exactly. The way I ordered it and our waitress was full of hell and that made it that much more fun. I know from now on when I'm on Highway 80 headed east one great place to stop is it SIDS!

The food was not very good. We ordered meatloaf sandwiches were so bad we sent them back. The hamburger were ok. The service not the best

Stopped in Wiinemuca to eat dinner. I ordered the Chicken & Asparagus Pasta . The pasta was cooked al dente, asparagus was steamed perfectly and cut into bite size pieces and it was well seasoned . The staff is very friendly and the restaurant is very clean and inviting. Brenda was our server and was always ready with a smile.

The breakfast was delicious. Omlets were so fluffy. My skillet with the sausage gravy was really good. Large portions.

Easy stop. Variety of choices and great service

I had green pea soup which was very good. I also had meatloaf with mash potatoes and gravy. The meatloaf was good. The mash potatoes was from a dry mix. My wife had a prime rib which she really liked. The seats were comfortable and the restaurant was clean. We were surprised at how good the food was and would come back. We usually stop at McDonalds for dinner. This place was a nice change.

Fast service, great food, and the staff are awesome! It was one of our stops on way the Utah. It will now be our planned stop every time we are in town. The building was clean. The bathrooms were clean and well stocked.
